"crush" : girl who you have mildly seen personality and are physically attracted to, seen as possible dating material,

"date": when both parties know its a date

"hang out": when one party thinks it's a date but really needs to grow a pair and have a DTR.

"D.T.R.": define the relationship.

"dating" implies multiple dates on its way to exclusive.
