Men suck! Most people know that. What I am trying to say is the institution of man has been critically wounded. In the last years privlage stimulation and entitlement has eroded the standards of masculinity. Particularly with our collage aged youth. Where systematically the frat system reinforces patriarchy. Pop culture, men, and conditioned women, and the collage culture are aimed at disarming the voice of women at a level that seems statutory.

What happened to the idea of a gential man. Who would fight for his

The spirit of religion is grounded in if than statements. That result in an ever increasing system of sacrifices to get god to do things for us. Religion is unable to usurp the ego.

Ok so ... as I was saying... in the beginning god...
God ? What's that ?
All powerfull all good all knowing spiritual being that created everything.
That doesn't work...
What ?
All powerful all knowing all good...
Why ?
Well if he is good and he has the power to do something about it why doesn't it means he either isn't good or isn't powerful... and why is it a he?
Well he isn't...
You mean it ?
No. He isn't a guy he transends gender and we don't have a non gendered pronoun in english so we say he. So god created every thing... then he made us in his image.
Or...
I know what your going to say...
What was I going to say...
That we made him in our image... and yes some people do that but I am getting there. So here we are alone and god sees we are alone and says we shouldn't be alone so he make woman.
Woah woah woah... so this is a total heteronormative rehetoric using a spiritual being to back you up...
No!
But he made a man and a woman to be together?
Yes... he took a rib and sprinkled some jesus dust on it and there was a woman and he made them to be together...
Jesus dust ?
That's way later.
Who's jesus ?
Later! I was being sarcastic
Did you know that means ripping the flesh ?
Jesus ?
No sarcasm
What does that have to do with anything ? Any ways he see's that its not good to be alone is what I am trying to say.
So you should get into communities that will brain wash you ?
Ripping of the flesh hua ?
Touché
It's about love! Its all about love! Not good to be alone because he didn't have anyone to love. God let's evil happen because you need free will to have love. He made us because he needed someone to love. Jesus even he is love.
... what's love
I don't know yet.

In My end of the academic (arts/ethnic studies) world has a higherarchy of experience where they believe the more oppressed a person is the more valid their openion and experience is. Black > white, gay > hetero, women > men. in an effort to reclaim equality that whitch was in power has been turned upside down instead of made level. I understand that there is a need to define for yourself your experiences as independent from those of other social classes. But where is this perspective of different but equal ? Can I tell you how many times I hear "its because your white or it's because you're a man ?" As reasons for disregarding my openion or experience of art....

Dance imagery ideas

I think I want to use wax. Wax dried on the skin the is such a beautiful image. The way it cracks as you start to move again... images of stone made flesh again come to mind...I wonder what it would look like on a person in a bath tub...

Second wave

Today I had a conversation with mollie about the differences between the 4 waves of feminism. When I thought why have we in pop culture thought of the feminist movement as something that is in the past? And as a man how do we take a proactive roll in mending the oppression between men and women while not throwing babies out with the bath water. How do we find macro solutions with out getting so robotic that we can't treat people as people. Complex flawed and diverce people being addressed on a case by case basis.
